New York Metro based Fotojournalist  Brian Branch-Price will be discussing his work on Cedar Brook Park of Plainfield NJ 

 

Brian will be giving a presentation talk about his work on Cedar Brook Park at the DuCret School of Art 

 

The park is on the national register of parks and was designed the Olmsted Brothers, designers of Central Park and Prospect Park of New York.

While visiting the park visitors will notice the abundance of activity from soccer, to football to basketball, to fishing, to entertainment events, to cook-outs to walkers, joggers and if your lucky one might see Marine 1. But are parks here here for our use and enjoyment   The fotografs on exhibit shows how much community action is involved.  The images date back a few years until 2022.

Brian was influenced by the late Moneta Sleet Jr. and began his career in with the the high school yearbook, college newspaper and professionally with The Washington Post, The News Journal, and the Associated Press. Brian has documented U.S. Presidents,  September 11th Terrorist Attacks, World Series, A Superbowl, Olympic Athletes, past and living legends such as Coretta Scott King, Vernon Jordan, and Jamie Foxx, as well as Plainfield heroes as Bernie Worrell, Viola Sykes, and comedian Rich Vos. dedication to his craft has won him prestigious awards and exhibitions and has been distinguished among the National Association of Black Journalists.
